Dean Abraham
Originally from Tadworth, England, has represented Denmark at all Major International Worldwide Competitions throughout Japan, Australia and Europe. He was one of the founders of the "Dance Options" training center in London, where dancers from "Dancing With The Stars", including Mark Ballas, Derek and Julianne Hough, Max and Val Chmerkovskiy, and past and present World Champions have trained.
In the United States, Dean strives to further incorporate Ballroom into the lives of American children to see a true American-born become a World Champion.
Dean was employed at the world-famous Blackpool Dance Festival from 2003-2009 as the competitor’s liaison officer.
He is a licentiate of the International Dance Teachers Association in England. In both International Ballroom and Latin styles, and an examiner in Rhythm, Smooth and International styles with DVIDA Teachers Society in the United States.
Dean has been recognized y the American Guild of Musical Artist as having exceptional ability within his field.
In 2009, Dean was invited to the USA by the president of Arthur Murray, John Kimmins, to coach students and staff of the Arthur Murray Organization.
In 2013, Dean, former head of the Ballroom Dance Department at the Manatee School for the Arts, in Palmetto, FL, helped launched a program offering ballroom to young dancers, the program continues to thrive and now has over 700 students involved.
